Music Video Treatment

Scene 1:

A teen walks through a pathway towards Greenford Broadway. The video is about a normal day in the life of two average teenagers. The camera is in a perspective view and is switched views between the two teenagers throughout the video. They both meet up outside a library and they are thinking of what to do.

Scene 2:

After wondering what they should do to spend the day, the camera fades to diffrent places around Greenford which they could go to, to have fun at then fades back to the teens who start to walk out of shot. After, there is a sped up shot of the teen walking to the park. Each teen is doing something different.

Scene 3:

When they finish, they attempt to find something else to do. During their search, one of the teens says to the other that he is hungry so they make their way to a fast food resuraunt (KFC). The camera view then changes and the camera is now behind them. As they walk into the resturaunt, there is a fade to the next shot where the teens are walking out of the resturaunt.

Scene 4:

After walking out of the restaurant one of the teens look at their wrist(no watch 4 comedy) to see the time in the afternoon. After realising that one of the teens needs to be home at a certain time, they both rush to a bus stop and the camera cuts to when they are both on the bus making their way to the place of where they 1st met up to say their goodbyes.

Representation

Non-American people in the film Django Unchained are portrayed as a hero, a slave owner, or a slave. Black people being slaves are one of the stereotypes in this movie and makes the black people look powerless and defenceless. This portrayal is honest because it’s a historical event however, there may be black people that are offended by this film. The women in this film are represented as scared and submissive. This is because they were also slaves so they were forced to do housework otherwise they would be whipped. Another representation for women is that they are treated as a low rank of power. They have the same punishment as men but are sometimes used for sex even if they didn’t want to do it. This is because black females would be seen as unlikely to take a stand to the slave owners before the men do. The man who attempts to save the slaves, Dr. King Shultz (played by Christoph Waltz), is German but portrayed as a father figure or a mentor. This is because he teaches Django (Jamie Foxx) how to fight against the slave owners. The white men in this film are presented as powerful, aggressive and rich. This is because of the movie being historical. Most white men in the film are shown as very strong. Leonardo Di Caprio plays a rich man who treats the slaves like toys. For example, he forces two of the slaves to fight each other in front of him.
