HSBC Advertisement

The activity that we were doing in media was to create our own version of the HSBC airport advertisement. This is a picture of my finished advertisement. At first, I picked a template of the ad on Google Images and cropped the pictures out. Then, I decided on two words that linked with two different pictures. When that was done, I copy & pasted the pictures and gave them their meanings. The picture shows that money is needed in life but the evil owns money. In the next two, It shows that money can be evil to people and the evil is the money which meant that the evil is life. If I were to improve this, I would have added pictures that had more of a meaning to the words chosen.

Advertisement Analysis

I've chosen this specific advertisement because it grabs the attention of people in the same age group as me (11-14). This video is representing the Nintendo game, Pokemon X and Y. This ad would be intriguing to my age group because it makes the game seem as if the Pokemon are always alongside you. Most kids would want pets and these are exactly like them. It pulls the target audience in because the video show how you can grow and name them. This would be mainly be watched on children's TV channels and and adverts for any YouTube video. It could also be viewed on the Pokemon website.
